Introduction

Hey, are you interested in knowing what it is like to have severe Cerebral Palsy? Read this blog, and I will tell you stories about my life.

I was born, I had my umbilical cord wrapped around my neck and my chest, cutting off the oxygen to my brain.   The doctors were afraid that they were going to lose me.  Luckily, I was a fighter even way back then.  The lack of oxygen caused my brain injury, resulting in my Cerebral palsy. I have the latest assistive technology to help me lead an active life. I have a  G-tube for my nourishment. Oh, I drive my power chair uniquely with my head. My headrest is like my joystick. I simply press on the middle pad, and it will go forward or backward, depending on which mode it is on.  When I want to turn to the right, I push the right pad, and the left pad turns me to the left.  So that is how I get around and drive everyone bananas.   I am controlling my communication device with eye gaze. Is that cool, or what? My mom says I have the coolest toys!
